East Coast Panelboard

In January of 1999 a new parent company was formed in the name of East Coast Power Systems. This new parent company is comprised of three divisions, East Coast Panelboard, East Coast Control & Automation and East Coast Power Services. The oldest of these divisions, East Coast Panelboard was founded by Salvatore Rinaldi Sr. in 1983. East Coast Panelboard was originally designed to be a specialty and quick ship manufacturing plant for panelboards and switchgear, providing custom electrical equipment and enclosures. Throughout the years, quality, reliability and fair pricing have become the trademarks of East Coast’s success.

While expanding, East Coast has become a manufacturer of Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear, Critical Power Equipment, Utility Equipment and Enclosure Fabrication, along with Pull Boxes, Custom Wireways, Cabinets, Copper and Aluminum Bus Bars, Cell Towers as well as Custom Solutions and Metal Fabrications.

Products that we stock include but are not limited to the following; Circuit Breakers, Plated Copper Bus Bar, Aluminum Bus Bar, Glastic Insulating Material, Lugs, N.J. and Massachusetts Utility CT Cabinets, ASCO Automatic Transfer Switches from 1200 to 4000 Ampere (both standard and with bypass isolation), Circuit Breaker Enclosures, Safety Switches, Fused Disconnect Switches, etc.

East Coast Power Services

East Coast Power Services was formed in January of 1999. A perfect compliment to East Coast Panelboard and East Coast Control & Automation, it is the final piece of the puzzle. Power Services supplies customers with warranty service, preventive maintenance, and emergency service. East Coast Power Services is also mobile and will provide customers with special delivery as well as on site installation instructions.

Power Services has also created its own place in the electrical market, providing work for such major manufacturers as General Electric, Siemens, and Westinghouse. This division’s capabilities have expanded to Commissioning, Startups, Modifications, Testing, and Solid State Retrofits.

Customers can reach the Power Service division twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Someone is always available to assist in troubleshooting.

East Coast Automation

East Coast Control & Automation or ECCA as it is better known was founded in 1998. This division was created to better serve our customers who require industrial control products. Although new in structure, the staff of ECCA boasts more then 25 years of experience in the electrical power and control industries.

ECCA provides a variety of products including but not limited to Custom Motor Control Centers, Phase Loss Panels, Ground Fault Protection Panels, Pump Control Panels, Lighting Control Panels, Custom Industrial Control Panels, and Wayside Power Boxes for Transit Applications. The scope of work has included but is not limited to: Integrating Variable Frequency Drive Units and Pilot Devices into new and existing Motor Control Centers; rebuilding Feeder and Starter Buckets, assisting customers with design/build support. We have also become an outlet for hard to find replacement parts. ECCA has strong factory ties with Eaton-Cutler Hammer, General Electric, and Siemens. These ties have helped ensure our customer’s needs are met.
