Accounting Specialist-Order Processing Person

3-5 years experience order entry. Excellent English language skills,
Microsoft software proficient, BS, BA preferred. Benefits, IRA plan.

Responsible for processing all customer orders. Input order specs prepared by the sales team, maintain accurate files, prepare folders, prepare shop orders, interface with purchasing and inventory management team, distribute instructions to the various departments, complete follow up for change order revisions and corrections, expedite orders while maintaining focus on accounts receivable functions. Assist in developing and implementing procedures to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of job functions.

Job requirements:

3-5 years experience in order entry processes. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, communication & negotiation skills are required as well as knowledge of Management of Material Resources, Production and logistics process. Must be proficient on the Microsoft Suite of software. BS, BA degree preferred.

Purchasing Agent

Responsible for the purchase and warehouse functions of a manufacturing company. Process all purchase orders, order all materials, equipment and supplies, keep accurate property records, and maintain inventory systems. Also responsible for locating vendors of materials, equipment and supplies; reviewing vendors to determine product suitability, availability and terms of sale. Verify all invoices and prepare same for payment. Maintain accurate up-to-date files on pricing, bid tabulations, catalogues of equipment and supplies while controlling purchasing department budgets. Assist in developing and implementing purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures in order to drive the concept of continuous improvement. Resolving vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.

Job requirements:

Steel Fabrication

Tough people need tough jobs. This is one where brain meets brawn. Interpret a mechanical drawing or just follow cutting list, but the parts must be the right size, square, and with very little waste. (using up that waste for smaller parts is a challenge) Finding the correct way to measure and layout the cut is not as easy as it looks, but with the benefit of learning the basics comes the transition to CAM. The training we provide will allow for the operation of a number of mechanical, hydraulic and electric servo machines to create the foundation for every item in our product line.

We have welding positions for entry level arc and spot welders, as well as accomplished MIG and TIG welders. Equipment is preformed, assembly is a mixture of screws and welds. Covers and some boxes are spot welded. Advancement opportunities are numerous as a mentor style training in various techniques is employed.

Assembler/Wireman

This position is perfect for a person who enjoys the intricate assembly process of building electrical switchgear. He or she would be able to take the basic framework of steel components and add the internal steel, copper and supports necessary to provide the platform for the electrical switches or circuit breakers. Learning from the mentor provided, they would be able to extend their knowledge of measurement, tools and test equipment and be able to learn new facets of construction and assembly. They would be responsible not only for assembly but for quality control of ever product they were assigned to complete. Use of all types of power and hand tools is mandatory. The ability to read mechanical drawings and some knowledge of wiring is a definite benefit towards promotion.

Assembler/Panelboard

A panelboard assembler is one who takes various components that are either purchased or manufactured by East Coast Panelboard and creates multiple or one-of-a-kind circuit breaker or fusible panelboards. Using hand and air tools with a clear knowledge of dimensions and being able to interpret mechanical drawings, this person joins steel, copper and other components into a whole. The resulting panel will be tested to specifications by this individual. Who will then assist in the final assembly into the enclosure it belongs in. Continual quality control is expected, and original thought is rewarded in the fine tuning of a very responsible position within our fabrication process.

Wire Person/Assembler

Ability to interpret electrical wiring and mechanical diagrams. Experience in wiring Industrial Control Panels.

Wire Person, a person able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Capable of following simple, individual wiring diagrams, leading as time passes to the ability to incorporate such information into a more complicated, combined and unified approach to the wiring process.
Assembly of all types of components, including their layout, onto coordinated wiring pans for installation into the electrical switchgear or panelboard. These designs are unlimited and varied in there scope and possibility of advancement. Dreaming is encouraged, original thought sought after in East Coast's search for new ways of fabricating our many different products.

Powder Paint System Operator

Able to operate and maintain semi automated powder coat system.

Marketing Specialist

Individual serves as the Marketing Coordinator. Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes a detailed plan and managing to a firm budget.

Coordinate department, program, and facility advertising with all appropriate media for all daily activities and special events. Create and implement a comprehensive marketing campaign for growing manufacturing company. Conduct market research in the form of surveys, focus groups, and market meetings for the development of marketing strategies, new service programs and customer service evaluation. Responsible for the design, layout, printing, and distribution of season program brochures.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of accepted marketing principles with the ability to assess needs, design, and implement a successful marketing/public relations program. Thorough knowledge and training which provides candidate with the ability to utilize desktop graphic software in the production of printed media material as well as the Microsoft Suite of software programs.
